Blue and Pink Collar JObs

As a coffee shop manager your work is to oversee the overall operations of the coffee shop and design attractive menus. You also have to ensure that your shop adheres to the food safety and regulations. You will be responsible for maintaining the budget and ordering kitchen supplies. You may also need to hire and train new restaurant staff. You are required to have at least 3 years of experience in the same position and excellent leadership, organizational and customer service skills.

As a store manager, your work is to ensure that your store runs successfully on a day to day basis. You have to maintain the store budget and make sure that your shop is stocked accordingly and give regular reports on the operations. You will also be in-charge of hiring and training employees. In case of any complaints amongst employees or customers, you have to offer solutions. Proven experience as a retail manager and commercial awareness are a must for this position. You also need to have great communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.

You will be in charge of operations including, budgeting, menu designs, and hiring and training employees. You must also stay up to date with food and beverage regulations and ensure that these are implemented in your premises. You will also be responsible for ordering all kitchen supplies according to the menu. A deep understanding of the food industry coupled with at least 3 years experience as a Food & Beverage Manager is necessary for this role. 

The Executive Production Manager is responsible for achieving established corporate department goals. He is accountable for the growth and profitability of his department, as well as maintaining the product quality and accuracy. He has to ensure that all the equipment and systems in his department are working properly. He is also responsible for employee productivity and projecting all the future needs of the department. You must have excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills to excel in this role. You must also have proven experience in management.

As the pastry chef, you will be required to plan, create and prepare all pastry recipes and menus from scratch. You will also make sure that the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times. You will need to manage a team of junior pastry cooks and other staff members and carry out administrative duties to maintain an efficient workspace. You must possess confident  culinary techniques and skills. Proven experience working as a pastry chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment is necessary for this position.
